My Story

In case you can't tell by these photos, I'm loud. I am actually loud with my voice (I lost my inside voice in an accident) but I'm also a big personality. I have always been very confident in who I am and what I believe in, so I'm a tough nut to crack in terms of being shaken by stress. Which makes me a great wedding photographer (if I do say so myself, and I do). I bring my bag of goofy tricks and bad jokes to your family portraits and I will get your grumpy relative to smile. I also am there to help guide your day and I'm not afraid to take charge where it's needed to keep us on track.

Some things you probably don't know about me but might surmise is that I ❤ Art, capital "A" and all. I attended 7.5 years of art school to achieve my Master's degree in studio art, and then I worked in non-profit galleries and with artists independently for 6 years after graduating. I've been an artist since a time before I can remember and it's entirely possible that my body composition is 25% oil-based paint.

I also love to explore and go on adventures. My partner, CJ, can always tell when I need to get out for some exploring and asks if I need to be taken for my walk. Yes. Give me mountains, forests, rivers, oceans, all of it. I want to soak up as much of the Earth as I possibly can while I'm here on it.

Lastly, but no less importantly, I believe that love knows no bounds when it comes to color or gender and I am a big supporter of LGBTQ marriage rights.
