2018 Season Review | Connecticut Wedding Photography

Updated: Jan 9

My 2018 was amazing! I got to meet and work with so many wonderful couples and collaborate with some top-notch vendors on their gorgeous weddings. Now that the year is almost over, it's time to take a look back at some of my favorite moments from the weddings and sessions of the year most importantly, say a great big THANK YOU to all of my awesome clients, without whom I couldn't do the work I love every day. :)

ENGAGEMENTS

In 2018, I had sixteen engagement sessions for my couples, some of whom were married this year and some who are getting married in 2019. I got to visit some of my favorite locations for sessions and explore some new ones that are special to the couples who brought me there.

WEDDINGS

I had thirty weddings in 2018! About half of them were in September and October (I am almost done editing my last October wedding)! So it was a busy year for me, but so much fun going to new venues I had never been to and getting to see everyone's different ceremony styles. One of the couples actually jumped the broom, and another did a hand-fasting (LOVE!).

Another interesting note: this year saw a lot more rainy-day weddings and holiday weddings than last year. I had seven weddings on a holiday weekend (or the holiday itself) this year or themed around a specific holiday.

PRIVATE EVENTS

I also photographed my last two private events in 2018, before making the decision to focus exclusively on weddings and engagements. The first was celebrating a woman's 90th birthday and the second was for a couple's 50th anniversary.

Again a HUGE THANK YOU to each and every one of my clients for making my 2018 so awesome, and I'm so looking forward to a stellar 2019!
